DJ - Shane J

Shane Johnson was an AMAZING DJ. I can't recommend him enough. We booked him through Bellagala for our NYE wedding at A'bulae in Saint Paul, MN. Not only was he receptive to our song requests and the requests of our guest, he played the music at the right time. He made sure all were dancing and having fun. He made it a priority to meet with us in advance and ensure the ceremony music was set and the officiant had all the technology he needed. I had several guests ask for his name at the end of the night to use for their future events. Many of the guests even started a "DJ" chant at the end of the night to celebrate how awesome he was. We were thrilled with our choice to book Shane!

We had an amazing experience with DJ Shane! He helped us create the vibe we wanted for our special day. He was very receptive to our wants and was great at reading the energy of the room. It was very important for us to have people dancing all night, and because of DJ Shane the dance floor was packed until the venue closed. Our guests had so much fun! The audio during the ceremony and the reception was great and guests could hear clearly. Communication was great leading up to the reception and on the day of. DJ Shane was very fun to work with and we highly recommend him!!

Using Bellagala for our wedding vendors was the best decision we made! Bellagala was a joy to work with throughout our planning process! Emmerlee was our wedding photographer and our entire experience working with her was great from start to finish! She is professional, fun, easy going, and amazing at what she does! She had another photographer, Tom, with her the day of our wedding, who was just as kind, fun and professional and the two worked really well together and with us!Jacob was our videographer and he did a fantastic job from start to finish as well! The final videos are above and beyond what my husband and I imagined. We will cherish them forever!Shane J. was our Disc Jockey on our wedding day and he was right on point with everything! Shane was professional, organized, fun and so great to work with! Leah S. was our florist and oh what a beautiful job she did! I cannot recommend her enough! She was so helpful throughout with any questions or adjustments I had! And the day of, well the flowers for our wedding were above our expectations! And after bringing them home, we pressed them and they look beautiful! Thank you Leah S. for your amazing work! Thank you Bellagala for everything you did to make our wedding day so special! We are beyond grateful!

We hired Shane Johnson as our wedding DJ and he did a fantastic job! We had a goal of weaving in 90's - 00's House & Big Beat with some Ska and things blended seamlessly throughout the night. Shane is clearly an experienced DJ, and perhaps more importantly, an experience wedding DJ that we have already recommended to others. We had two conversations leading up to the wedding, and these I felt were very helpful in better clarifying nuances the wedding profile form could not easily capture.

We were assigned Chris with Bellagala and he did a great job! He helped dismiss tables, worked with all the vendors great, and all the wedding songs went without any issues. I also used them for our ceremony music and I would absolutely recommend. It was so nice not having to worry about that and the additional cost was very reasonable. He also was great at reading the room and playing music that our guests really enjoyed. I had no issues at all and I know that Chris was a huge help in making everything go smoothly.

He got there early and was very attentive. I do wish the ceremony music was a bit louder - the ceremony was outside so I'm not sure if that made a difference and I was probably too busy crying walking down the aisle :) The reception was great and even though we didn't have many people dancing due to COVID, Shane still kept the dance floor moving! There were a few hiccups with the mother-son dance (long screeching sound and he played one of the songs way too long) - it definitely made for an awkward, funny moment but one my husband would never forget haha :) Overall, Bellagala was a great company to work with. Shane was fun and easy to work with but giving 4 stars due to a few hiccups throughout the day.

Shane J. was our DJ, and he was probably the single most important factor in making the reception the spectacularly entertaining event that it was. We all danced all night! So much fun. Our Bellagala coordinator recommended him, and I am so glad she did. He was amazing.

We had Shane Johnson as our DJ at the very last minute and when I mean last minute I mean the week of our wedding due to our previous booked DJ not being able to work out. Within that one week before our wedding day, Shane was exceptional at communicating with my husband and I to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that he was going to take care of everything related to music and equipment for sound. We could not have asked for a better DJ! I would highly recommend him for your wedding. He was not only great at communicating with us but he is also great at handling adversity on the day of our wedding. We had a lot going on through out our wedding day, some planned and some not planned. He accommodated and worked well with everyone!
